A Guide to using Props
A short list of questions and suggestions leading to how best to use props in a BNI meeting

Will the prop add to the presentation?

Will the prop complement the presentation?

Will you still be able to perform without using the prop?

Make sure the prop is visible.

Do not over do it, do not let the prop interfere.

Must be appropriate, needs to enhance the message.

Don’t use the same props as everyone else.

Don’t use props just to get a laugh.

Be comfortable with a prop.

A prop must be easy to transport.

Use a prop sparingly.

Keep your prop hidden until you are ready to use them.

You do not have to do wild things to use props.

Noises and mechanisms create interest.

Hats create interest.
