We are all told that members aught to be visitor hosts. What should members do to help the VH team.

A visitor should take the following route -

1. Entrance Door (always a good start)
2. Sign in Table
3. Coffee/Tea
4. Chapter Director
5. Members

So how should members help the Visitor host team?

1. A couple of members should greet & guide visitors to the sign in table.
2. Help the Visitor hosts by getting three business cards for them.
3. A couple of members should help to escort visitors from the sign in table, to the coffee, Dale & then to the other members.
4. Members should be open to being introduced to visitors, even if they are in conversation. Networking is why we are here.
5. Members should not “hog” the visitors, after 5 minutes try to pass on the visitor to another member.
6. Ensure Visitors get a seat at the table, make sure they are seated before you are.

And

Please make sure that visitors get all they need, make shue they have all they need during the meeting and understand what is happening. The first time a visitor goes to a BNI meeting there is a lot to take in. Also make sure that they pass their cards around the table.
