Are members supposed to bring visitors?
YES. Bringing visitors helps to grow the chapter and therefor the business you will gain from BNI.
You’re encouraged to bring visitors for those occupations that are open. Any profession which is not represented in a chapter is elligable to be a visitor.
If you are unsure if you should bring a visitor to a meeting, always ask the conflicting member or the Chapter Director.
Some times partial overlaps in professions are a good thing, it can promote business between the overlaping businesses.
